Yoshino and Haruhi Suzumiya lead the 2014 International Saimoe League Emerald Period after Match Day 2. Not a lot of upsets took place this round, but there was one. Let's take a look at action after ISML Emerald 2.
NOVA DIVISION
In the Nova Division, Yoshino defeated Nanami Aoyama 2718-2451, Chocolat rolled past Noumi Kudryavka 2522-2066, Momo Velia Deviluke won the closest match of the night: a 2133-2081 thriller over Mikan Yuuki, Kuroyukihime flew past Yui 3209-1828, Kurousagi bounced past Sanae Dekomori 3085-1887 anbd Eru Chitanda prevailed over Tsukiko Tsutsukakushi 2587-2483.
Rikka Takanashi routed Suguha Kirigaya 3348-1752, Kotori Itsuka clobbered Touka Takanashi 3431-1701, Ririchiyo Shirakiin defeated Shiori Shiomiya 2438-2074, Mirai Kuriyama delivered the Upset of the Round: a 2499-2279 result over Nyarlathotep, Furano Yukihira prevailed over Karuta Roromiya 2329-2158 and Yukino Yukinoshita dismantled Misaki Shokuhou 2784-2059.
Wrapping up Nova play, Rin Natsume defeated Charlotte Belew 2343-2238, Tohka Yatogami throttled Shinka Nibutani 2826-2374, Asuna Yuuki slashed past Origami Tobiichi 3284-1867, Kurumi Tokisaki shot down Haqua du Lot Hermiunium 3525-1569, Yukina Himeragi slayed Laura Bodewig 2462-2029 and Azusa Azuki defeated Yaya 2514-2295.

Ayase Aragaki flattened Meiko Honma 3334-1740, Illyasviel von Einzbern defeated Masami Iwasawa 2530-2205, defending champion Ruri Gokou ran past Sena Kashiwazaki 3296-1804, Sora Kasugano won a 2334-2276 thriller over Yozora Mikazuki 2334-2276, Kanade Tachibana sliced and diced Mio Akiyama 3266-1954 and Yuri Nakamura gunned down Shinobu Oshino 2782-2124.
