The International Saimoe League is known for having some big Upsets of the Round, and on Match Day 4 of the Topaz Period for the 2021 edition, a big one took place with Index Prohibitorum laying the book on Kurumi Tokisaki 1727-1665. Also in the Female Division, Kaguya Shinomiya routed Mitsuha Miyamizu 1989-1116, Kanade Tachibana flew past Kuroko Shirai 1625-1412, Isla drubbed Chiyo Sakura 1671-1067, Tamako Kitashirakawa defeated Meiko Honma 1394-1160, Aqua prevailed over Yoshino 1302-1368, Azusa Nakano romped past Kazari Uiharu 1468-1335 and Chika Fujiwara eased past Mio Akiyama 1710-1256.
